The Museo civico Archeologico, in the 16th-century Palazzo Villabruna, opened in 1928, evokes the atmosphere of a patrician residence of the past according to the house-museum typology.
Alberto-Alpago Novello was responsible for the first layout, freely combining original architectural and decorative elements with others of re-use, such as the frescoed roundels depicting a Saint with a chalice and the Madonna of the Saplings from the cathedral sacristy and the Carenzoni Orphanage respectively, or the leaded glass windows recovered from buildings in the city centre.
The current layout is the result of the reorganisation and reinterpretation carried out by Francesco Vacanover in 1954. In May 2022, the new archaeological section of the Civic Museum was inaugurated. Its aim is to illustrate the physiognomy of Feltria in the Roman period, not only from an architectural and artistic point of view, but also from a geo-political, administrative, economic and religious one, using modern multimedia technologies and with a marked didactic approach.

January to July and October to December: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
August - September: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and public holidays from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Closed on 25 December and 1 January.

Entrance to the Civic Archaeological Museum requires payment on site of the Totem Card or individual ticket.

Full price ticket € 9 - reduced price ticket € 7 (the reduction is available for young people up to 24 years of age and for all residents in the Municipality of Feltre, FAI, Touring, AreaArte, Museo Gipsoteca Antonio Canova) From the date of purchase, this card is valid for three months and allows the individual visitor to enter the following sites once only: Civic Museum, Carlo Rizzarda Gallery of Modern Art, Belluno - Feltre Diocesan Museum.
TOTEM CARD FELTRE/ FAMILY MUSEUMS
€ 12 for households consisting of at least one parent and a minor child - € 10 for households resident in the Municipality of Feltre (The reduction is available for all residents in the Municipality of Feltre) From the date of purchase for three months, allowing the household (consisting of at least one parent and a minor child) admission for one time to the following sites: Museo civico, Galleria d'arte moderna Carlo Rizzarda, Museo Diocesano Belluno - Feltre.

Full price ticket € 11 - Reduced price ticket € 9 (the reduction is for children up to 24 years old and for all residents in the Municipality of Feltre, FAI, Touring, AreaArte, Museo Gipsoteca Antonio Canova) Valid from 1st June to 30th September every year, it allows the entrance for one time in the Civic Museum, in the Modern Art Gallery Carlo Rizzarda, in the Diocesan Museum Belluno - Feltre, in the Towers of the Castle and Campanon and in the Ancient Prisons of Palazzo Pretorio.
TOTEM CARD FELTRE/ PLUS FAMILY
€ 14 for families consisting of at least one parent and a minor child - € 12 for families resident in the municipality of Feltre. Valid from 1st June to 30th September each year, it allows one-time admission to the Civic Museum, the Carlo Rizzarda Modern Art Gallery, the Belluno - Feltre Diocesan Museum, the Castle and Campanon Towers and the Ancient Prisons of Palazzo Pretorio.

€ 5 which allows admission to the Civic Archaeological Museum.
TOTEM CARD FELTRE/SCHOOL
Free for schools in the Feltre area, € 30 per class for all other schools with unlimited admission for the entire school year to the Civic Museum, the Carlo Rizzarda Modern Art Gallery and the Belluno - Feltre Diocesan Museum, the Castle Towers and the Ancient Prisons of Palazzo Pretorio. The duration of the card refers to the school year of purchase and no longer to the calendar year.
FREE TOTEM CARD
For journalists in possession of a professional card, children up to the age of 6 and disabled persons with an accompanying person, for tourist guides accompanying a group. It is also free of charge for guests staying overnight in accommodation facilities both in the municipality of Feltre and in the other municipalities that are members of the Associated Service for the Development and Promotion of the Territory in the Tourism Environment. There is the possibility of purchasing an annual subscription of € 30 for residents of the municipality of Feltre and € 40.00 for non-residents with unlimited admission to all Totem circuit sites for one year from the date of purchase.
