Landscape and Biodiversity Environmental Education Routes

Project aimed at primary, lower and upper secondary schools

Landscape and Biodiversity Environmental Education Pathways is a didactic project promoted by Gal Delta 2000 and the Po Delta Parks and Biodiversity Management Authority aimed at primary, first and second grade secondary schools.

The main objective of the project is to improve the awareness of a territorial identity and citizenship starting from the most important human capital that is the new generations.

Through participative didactic methodologies, the main stages that led to the recognition of the Po Delta as a Unesco Mab Biosphere Reserve, the plurality of habitats and the richness of the Po Delta Park's biodiversity, and the concrete and excellent examples of Unesco MAB linked to the territory were developed and presented.
