INTERREG Italia – Croazia MARLESS
Project for primary and secondary school classes IV and V
Marless, an educational project promoted by Arpav and aimed at primary school classes IV and V and at secondary school, is aimed at the knowledge, appreciation, and protection of the sea ecosystem and, in particular, at raising awareness of the problem of marine waste in the Adriatic Sea.
The project has the following objectives
- to align the actions promoted by the project with Goal 14 of Agenda 2030
- to promote responsible behaviour towards coastal and marine habitats in order to preserve their biodiversity
- to make people understand the harmful effects of plastics in the environment and in the seas by promoting the use of alternative materials;
- promote the use of sustainable alternatives;
Aqua within the project deals with:
- designing and implementing the educational pathway
- organisation of awareness days with cleaning activities of natural spaces, beaches, parks, embankments and green areas in collaboration with local associations
- realisation of the digital didactic manual for educators and teachers
